Terms
The agreement between you and us when you search for a room with us. Short, and in plain words.

These terms
These terms apply to every search you start with Coliving Amsterdam, [company name], KvK [KVK NUMBER]. When you sign up, you accept them.
If these terms and a written agreement with you differ, the written agreement wins.
What we do for you
You ask us to find a room in a shared house in Amsterdam that fits your wishes. We then:
- search the market for rooms that fit what you asked for
- check rooms and landlords before we send them to you
- send you matches by email and help you plan viewings
- help with the rental contract when you want a room
We work only for you, the renter, and never for the landlord. Landlords do not pay us.
Our fee
Signing up is free. You pay our fee of €1,500 only when you sign a rental contract for a room we found for you.
A room counts as found by us when we sent it to you or arranged the viewing, and you sign for it within [period] of that.
[Payment terms: when the invoice is sent and within how many days it must be paid.]
What we ask of you
- Give us correct information about yourself and what you are looking for.
- Tell us when your wishes change.
- Tell us when you find a room some other way, so we stop searching.
- Do not pass rooms we send you on to other people.
Ending your search
You can end your search at any time by email, free of charge. Once you have signed for a room we found, the fee is due, also if you end the search afterwards.
We may end a search when you give us wrong information on purpose or treat landlords or our team badly. We tell you by email.
Liability
We check rooms and landlords carefully, but the landlord is responsible for the room and the contract. Our liability is limited to the fee you paid us, unless the damage was caused on purpose or by gross negligence.
Privacy and complaints
How we handle your data is in our privacy statement. Not happy with our service? Our complaints procedure explains how we deal with it.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the court in Amsterdam, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court.
