Searching with us
How does it work?
You tell us what you are looking for. We search the Amsterdam market every day and email you rooms that fit. We plan viewings, negotiate and guide you until your contract is signed.
Do you have rooms available right now?
We do not keep a list of rooms. From the moment you sign up we search the market for you, and email you as soon as a room comes up that fits.
Can I search in a specific neighbourhood?
Yes. We start with all of Amsterdam to give you the most options, and you can narrow it down any time.
What kind of rooms do you look for?
Rooms in shared houses (coliving) across Amsterdam, for students and young professionals.
How will you contact me?
By email. You deal with a real person, not a ticket system.
Fee and payment
Is signing up free?
Yes. Signing up and our search cost nothing. You only pay when you sign a rental contract.
How much is your fee?
One fixed fee of €1,500, charged only after your rental contract is signed.
What if you do not find a room for me?
Then you pay nothing.
Why do I pay, and not the landlord?
Because we only work for you, never for the landlord. That way we are always on your side.
Contracts and moving in
Do you check the rental contract?
Yes. We check every clause before you sign and explain anything that is unclear.
Can I register at the address?
We tell you upfront whether registration (BRP) is possible for a room. We think it matters, so we ask every landlord.
How do you protect me from scams?
We screen every landlord and room before it reaches your inbox, and we never ask you to pay anything before you sign.

Who are you?
Coliving Amsterdam is a renter's agent based at Herengracht 142, Amsterdam. We help renters find a room in a shared house.
Do you work for landlords?
No. We only work for renters, never for landlords.
